About Oloroso

Locally sourced, seasonal food is at the heart of Oloroso’s appeal but is by no means its only attraction. Oloroso’s rooftop status means that it boasts a breath-taking panorama by day and enchanting views of the city’s glimmering lights at night. The latter make the suave lounge one of the most attractive bars in Edinburgh.

Although he has gone on to launch his more informal bistro, Tony’s Table, Oloroso remains the flagship of his operations and is considered one of the best restaurants in Edinburgh.

Oloroso opened its doors in 2001 and quickly established itself as a leading light on Edinburgh’s fine dining scene. It is owned by chef Tony Singh who co-founded the restaurant after accumulating a wealth of experience in well known kitchens throughout the UK.
